Veteran’s Day 2020

Dear Veteran’s, families, friends, and Clementon Citizens:
Thank you for your service. We are observing Veteran’s Day in a unique way. Things will look a little different this year in Clementon NJ on Veteran’s Day. Due to the 2020 Global COVID-19 Pandemic, and after consulting many members of the Veteran’s community we have made the difficult decision to alter our Veteran’s Day celebrations for 2020.
Clementon Borough will host its annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Hero’s Park. But there will be no speeches and no dedications. The Clementon Fire Department will be honoring our Veteran’s by displaying the United States Flag from 10:30 AM until Noon on Wednesday, November 11th at Hero’s Park.
Please feel free to visit Hero’s Park to pay tribute, and place your own American Flag at the location.
Camden County will also be hosting a Virtual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11th. Camden County has partnered with Jefferson Health NJ to create a virtual Veterans Day Ceremony to honor Camden County Veterans. The ceremony will be viewable online Wednesday, November 11th at 10 AM. The pre-recorded program was designed to thank our veterans and give them the proper appreciation despite social distancing and the coronavirus pandemic.

The ceremony can be viewed at: CamdenCounty.com/VeteransDay20
